MOLECULAR SYSTEMS

In the competence field of Molecular Systems the interaction of structural, electronic, optical and chemical properties is investigated at different levels of complexity. Inspired by a fundamental understanding of the relationship between structure and physico-chemical function in natural systems, new approaches to artificial systems with unprecedented property profiles will be developed that shall finally lead to new types of energy and resources saving materials and functional systems.
